ADIRONDACK COUNTRY CABINS GUEST POLICIES

We are glad you chose to vacation with us and hope that you enjoy your stay at Adirondack Country Cabins. Your comfort and satisfaction are important to us.

Check in/check out:

Check in time is 3:00 PM (ET). Check out time is 10:30 AM (ET). 

Deposits and Payment:

  • A credit card deposit equal to two night's cabin rental, per cabin, is required for weekly reservations.
  • A credit card deposit equal to one night's cabin rental, per cabin, is required for a stay of less than one week
  • Balance is due in full at check in.
  • We accept cash, money order, cashier's check, Master Card  or Visa .

Cancellations

We are a small property with a short season. When you make a reservation, we hold a cabin for you and expect you to notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your reservation. 

When you call and reserve a cabin, it is taken off booking records and is no longer available for other guests. We turn down many calls for the cabin we have reserved for you.

Therefore we have adopted the following cancellation policy:

  • For cancellations made more than 14 days in advance, your deposit will be refunded in full, less a $35 per cabin cancellation fee.
  • For cancellations made less than 14 days in advance, deposits will be refunded only if cabin is re-rented (no exceptions). The $35.00 cancellation fee applies.
  • For last minute cancellations, no-shows, and early departures, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of reservation
  • There are no refunds for early departure.

Guidelines and Policies for Pets:

We strive to remain a pet-friendly cabin business while many cabins no longer accept pets. But we need your assistance in maintaining a positive experience for your fellow guests.

  • Well-mannered pets weighing less than 50 lbs. are welcome at the Cabins.
  • Dogs must be friendly, quiet and absolutely completely housebroken. 
  • Your pet must be kept on a leash while on the premises and taken with you -- not left alone in cabins -- while you are away. 
  • Please walk your pet to the perimeter of the property and clean up after him or her.
  • You are responsible for any damage caused by your pet during your stay.
  • Again, please do not leave your pet unattended.

Service and Cleanup:

We offer daily towel exchange and a refresher of sheets on the third day of your stay. All dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils and silverware are provided for your convenience.

Before departure please turn off and clean the coffee pot.  

Smoking:

For the safety and comfort of all of your guests, Adirondack Country Cabins is a non-smoking facility.

Smoking is only permitted outside, or on porches with proper disposal.
